Buster Keaton Pose Studies
Recently whilst browsing a second hand book shop in Notting Hill I came across an old Buster Keaton book filled with stills from many of his most famous silent films. The stills are sequentially laid out so you can see the progression from one pose to another. It's a great reference to understand his use of timing and pacing once you revisit the films from the book. I decided to make some studies of the poses as a warmup exercise and think of ways I could push the poses even furthe. This is something I may revisit..
